We worked on a one bedroom coop that had a lot of water damage from leaks and the radiators. We did some skim coat work and plaster work to repair the walls. Here are some photos of the skim coat and plaster work, we, the painters in park slope and prospect heights, did.
The original wall had large cracks in the plaster
chipping out the loose plaster and paint reveals the extent of the damage
the first layer of the plaster repair is applied to the wall, then sanded down. Then another plaster repair layer is applied

Here is another example of skim coating and plaster repair on the same paint job, plus we chipped off the cracking paint from the windows and repainted them.

Here again we are Green Painters, and I doubt we will go back to regular paint. The Benjamin Moore Natura line goes on well, and no one has any headaches.

Here’s a brownstone painting job where we did something different, we painted the floors. I don’t run across this often, but apartment painting in Brooklyn has many styles. We used a high gloss white epoxy paint to paint this wood floor, and it worked out really well. Two coats are required, and it has quite an odor, as it is oil based. Plan on being away for the weekend after we paint your floor.
I also really liked the warm orange accent color the client used for this wall in the kitchen.
