Here is a baby nursery we painted with green No-VOC paint for a couple with an infant. The yellow works well with the rug and the vibe of the room is upbeat but calm, I think. This room was initially a dark green, we had to prime the walls to keep the old color from bleeding through the light yellow. The built in shelves were removed and the walls and ceilings repaired. There was water damage in the ceiling from a roof leak that we repaired and it looks quite nice, I’m thinking. The wood floors were in good shape, so they were not re-sanded. The client plans on changing out the standard doorknobs. Going forward this will change from a nursery into a young girl’s room and the yellow will be appropriate for that.

We used Ben Moore Natura No VOC paint, and the clients were very happy with the lack of paint odor while we were working. The great thing about these paints is that they work well and you don’t get that paint odor for days afterward, great for small children and expecting parents.
