I get this call a lot.
Here’s a kitchen cabinet repair we did in Cobble Hill. You can see here in the close up, that the side of this cabinet is torn off from the back wall of the kitchen cabinet.
This cabinet was leaning out about an inch, and making the homeowners nervous. Not an unusual feeling when your kitchen cabinets need repair.

Here is the damage
When removing the broken kitchen cabinet, I discovered that when the cabinet was installed, the screws holding up the cabinet did not screw into the wall studs. So this cabinet was supported by the adjoining cabinet. It eventually tore away from the back wall because of the weight of the items in the cabinet.

The support screws had missed the wall studs, so nothing was really holding this cabinet up
I took the kitchen cabinet back to the shop to repair it.
Small blocks were screwed and glued into several discreet places and the cabinet squared back up again.

Small blocks of wood to strengthen the cabinet

Here I am with the kitchen cabinet repair back in place
