The bump out extension roof of this brownstone overflowed in heavy rains. The internal roof drain could not handle the amount of water coming down off the main roof, so a large amount of water ran off the of the bump out roof. This overflow would flood the bump out extension room, and then leak into the basement.

I installed a rain gutter to catch the overflow water, and diverted it into the garden area, to water the plants. This was a much simpler, cleaner solution than having to cut open the roof and re-plumb the internal drain pipes.
